Hello I’m Sarah!

I’ve worked in studios from 2017 to 2023, over the years I’ve followed many different people with many different goals and many different capacities, in individualised sessions as well as group classes (mainly strength training, mobility and pole dance).

Summer 2023 I left (yet an other) country and moved all my services online. And while I miss the terrain and the grunts, it’s been one of the best decisions of my life. I can now spend a lot of my time expending my educations and researching things that my clients and I wonder about while helping them do their thing with more autonomy.

I am an enthusiastic and curious person who likes to hike up mountains, climb on walls and poles, lift weights, stand on her hands, run, stretch and do anything that she feels like. I coach in most of these practices, particularly weightlifting, mobility & pole strength.

I don’t work on big restrictions, I’ve had enough.

Life and health are about way more than just going to the gym or eating low calories, and creating a sustainable lifestyle can be difficult but isn’t as complicated as we’re told. I believe that taking care of oneself is deeply political, while we may all have the same 24 hours, we’re certainly not given the same cards to play with.

My goal is to build a world where eating and moving well are accessible, enjoyable and empowering, one person at a time.

Education
& how it affected how I work now

2013-2017, France & Norway

  • Pasty & Chocolate maker apprenticeships and positions.

Before being a coach I was a chocolate maker. While the job may be behind me, I still cultivate my love for sweets and baking. I think that it’s one of the things that makes me very involved in educating others on the importance of nuances in nutrition.

2017-2019, Norway

  • Safe Education - Personal trainer License,

  • Training during pregnancy education,

  • Completion of multiple workshops on shoulder rehabilitation and prehabilisation, powerlifting and mobility.

These are the years that shaped my curiosity. During my baby years I’ve been very lucky to learn from colleagues whom many were specialists, athletes, bodybuilders, therapists and great coaches.

My luck also stands in the variety of clients I’ve worked with, their individuality helped me build a lot of my practical knowledge.

2019-2023, Belgium & France

  • PN - Nutrition coaching LVL1 certification,

  • Spin City - beginner level pole dance instructor course,

  • Attended various related workshops (technicality & injuries mainly).

Back to the roots for something that I had been willing to do in a long time: learn more about nutrition, its effects on our physiology and how to adapt it to someone’s life/goals.

2019 was also the year I started following pole dance classes at Brussels Art Pole, where I then became strength and conditioning teacher before teaching pole beginner and intermediate classes.

These years were marked by a growing interest in coaching aerial performers and students in their pursuit of more balanced lifestyles.

2024 - now

  • PN - Sleep, stress management & recovery coaching certification

With training and nutrition knowledge in my pocket I needed to know more about the psychological factors that make change and progress possible (and difficult).

The whole picture of Health is now much clearer. Allowing me to offer a more comprehensive approach to wellness that includes the different dimensions of Deep Health and leads to empowering, fulfilling and long lasting changes.
